KIBOUNCE OFFICIAL WEBSITE
kibounce is a New York City based Japanese artist. She utilizes memory, spoken word, sound, and light to experiment her poetry performance series in collaboration since 2019. Her second life began with her poem, titled, ‘Mirror Ball (Hanging in front of you?), abridged version. After working eight years for the United States Postal Service, making a full comeback to the dance music scene in 2014 became her turning point. She conducted her annual party trials that resulted in six years of quality analogue sound exposures in various countries. Her ears acquired a certain sensibility in listening. Strong interest in live performances eventually brought her to the experimental music and film scene. Currently, kibounce reconstructs by breaking down her boundaries internally and externally.
